Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Institute
The Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Museum was formed by the merger of Jingdezhen Ceramic Archaeology Research Institute, Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Museum, and Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Site Management Office. It is a county-level public welfare first-class scientific research institution responsible for the cultural preservation and exhibition of the Imperial Kiln Factory National Archaeological Site Park, as well as archaeological and related research work throughout the city. The main campus of the institute is located in the Lianhuatang Scenic Area in the city center, with a research and exhibition area of about 20000 square meters. It has complete equipment and facilities for field archaeology, indoor organization, cultural relic restoration, scientific and technological testing, research and exchange, and collection display centered on ceramic archaeology and research. With a history of more than 30 years and unique ceramic archaeological resources and research achievements, it enjoys a high reputation in the domestic and international ceramic archaeology community.
